Accreditations

The Degree programme also comprehensively covers both the CIMA and ACCA curriculums together with significant additional content. This unique feature has enabled the BA (Hons) International Business & Finance awarded by UWS to gain 10 examination exemptions from CIMA and 9 examination exemptions from ACCA at the end of the 2nd year of the Degree.

This is significantly different to what is available in the market; typically Degree programmes are only eligible for maximum exemptions from either CIMA or ACCA upon the completion of the Degree. This is therefore a global first where both CIMA and ACCA have provided the maximum exemptions at the end of the 2nd year of the Degree, prior to the completion of the Degree. Receiving the exemptions at the end of the 2nd year would provide students the opportunity to complete the Degree and the professional qualifications at the end of the 3 years.
